Being a follower of Christ is a calling that is so beautiful, because we are not only attending church every Sunday service, but we are also prepared to become soldiers of Christ are tough to deal with a wide range of spiritual warfare in our lives.
In Ephesians 6:12 clearly says that our lives are not only physically live alone (blood and flesh), but a spiritual life in which there are evil spirits that must be confronted and defeated his job is to power of the blood of Jesus. Here are 3 secrets to become a formidable soldier of Jesus:
A. Focus To The Lord
"A soldier who is struggling not pepper him with questions livelihood, that thereby he was pleasing to his commander." 2 Tim 2:4
Soldiers who fought the war itself to focus at hand. He should not lose focus at the time of the battle, because once lost focus for a moment, then he could lose his life and detrimental to the entire army. What will the exercise of his commander ordered by wholeheartedly without question or doubt. Soldiers will focus on command and the mission is being carried out until the mission is successful.

2. Discipline
"An athlete can only gain the crown as the champion, when he competes according to the rules of sport." 2 Tim 2:5
Athletes do not get the crown as the champion if he did not practice seriously. If he's lazy in practice, today's practice, no practice tomorrow, then the next day practicing and not practicing again the next day, then he will become champion. Level of competition in the race / game / championship is very high. The more prestigious an event match, the higher the level of existing competition. And of course the intensity of exercise should be done should also be higher. It required the so-called discipline.
Discipline in practice will boost the skills and strength of the athletes that can compete with the tight during the match. Discipline in practice will also increase the stamina in the race.
It is similar in spirituality. Spiritual discipline is also absolutely necessary so that we can against the 'enemy' is the devil.
As we lounged in reading the Word of God, personal prayer, following the worship / fellowship and other, then the strength of our spiritual bodies will be weakened. We can easily be defeated by the trickery of the devil.
But when we exercise our spiritual body with the daily routine and discipline him, then our spiritual bodies will be stronger, more robust, the bigger and more agile in the face 'versus' we are the devil with his move.
Discipline in worship will spur our spiritual lives so that we can be soldiers of Christ are resilient and strong.
"Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the habit of some, but exhorting one another, and the more as you see the Day approaching." Hebrews 10:25

3. Persistence
"A farmer who works hard should be the first to enjoy the fruits of his efforts." 2 Tim 2:6
Farmers always had his work without lose heart. Starting from preparing the land for farming, then hijacking, planted with seeds, irrigate farmland, provide fertilizer, caring, repel pests that interfere, until the end of the season, he will reap the rewards. Before the crop is sold, the farmers will enjoy the first results he can. He deserves to enjoy his hard work during the season.
Work that he did not make him tired, because of this work he earn a living for himself and his family. He was always keen to run the job even though forged by the heat every day, or even erratic rainfall, may also pests that can damage crops and so forth. The farmers believe that what he was doing would result in the end.
Our relationship with God that we wake up every day, we read God's Word and we practice every day, praying that we raise every day, we always follow the worship both on Sunday and mid-week, all of which are similar to agricultural land is being and if we cultivate our crops, which we then maintained until the end, we harvest the fruit.
Maybe there's time reading the Word of God becomes very tedious or even prayers that we say was not heard by God. Perhaps we also feel in vain to come to worship or fellowship.
But when we are still keen to do all that, regardless of burnout and fatigue we feel, then we will ultimately reap the rewards.
Assiduously cultivating a relationship with God, then we are building a strong spiritual life and growth continued until the end of our life will bear fruit in time. Our lives will surely be a blessing to others. We are going to be a soldier of God formed a strong and reliable, ready to help and assist any person in distress or are in trouble.
"Therefore, my beloved brethren, stand firm, do not waver, and immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord! For you know that in the Lord your labor is not in vain. "1 Cor 15:58
