Regardless of Tribulation
"When I was in distress, I cried out to God, my God I cried for help. He heard my voice from His temple, my cry to him reached his ears " Psalm 18:7
Psalm 18 is David's book of thanksgiving to God, because God had released her from the clutches of its enemies and also from the hand of Saul who was always chasing him.
David had so much trouble in his life. But in the end God raised him and glorify his name over the whole nation.
What is the secret of David so that he can despite all the trouble experienced?
A. Being a man after His own heart
"... God has chosen a man after His own heart ..." 1 Sam 13:14
David has an honest heart before God so that he called "a man after His own heart".
Man looks at outward appearance, but the Lord looketh on the heart (1 Sam 16:7).
Against those who faithfully apply God's faithful (Ps 18:26-27).
Do not harden your hearts. Lower your heart before the Lord, like David (2 Sam 15:25-26)
2. LEAN AND FULL OF CONFIDENCE TO GOD
"... For who is God but the Lord, and who is the rock except our God?" Ps 18:31-36
Many natural events David was greatly distressed him (1 Sam 30:6). But David still believe in the God of the living. David knew that God would provide help and solutions to any problem he faces.
David always brings any problems to the presence of God. He fully believed that God is in control every step of his life.
And every victory, brought David closer to God. So thanksgiving to God out of his mouth because of life (Ps 18:47-51).
